REMARC Cymru is a collaborative project that works across Wales with leading practitioners in the field of community energy and resilience. We are currently a small team of three.

Paul Burrell currently works part time in West Wales as a Development Officer for Ynni Lleol (Local Energy) and has occupied this role since 2010 working on a large variety of community energy renewable energy projects across Wales. These projects include wind turbines, hydro, AD, biomass and solar technologies. Prior to this role, Paul worked as a wind farm consultant for Dulas in Machynlleth. Since 2011 Paul has also been a director of Anemos Renewables llp an MCS registered company for installation and development of small wind turbine projects in England and Wales.

Giulio Mescia has a renewable energy background, and he’s a passionate developer of community schemes. Since 2011 Giulio has been involved in setting up and working with a number of community and grass-root organisations. Giulio has been involved in an extensive MSc research dissertation project focusing on community renewable schemes in Wales. Giulio is currently involved with Ecodyfi, which delivers community energy in Mid-Wales. He has also been working in construction, including a medium scale hydro scheme and a passivhouse.

Kim Bryan is an experienced communications and PR specialist working in a diverse range of roles largely focused on the environment and sustainability. Recently Kim was engaged to support the Small Wind Coop in Ceredigion who successfully developed a single medium scale wind turbine which was financed via a share issue which Kim coordinated and publicized in the local and wider community. Kim also has extensive experience of working with and developing grass roots organizations across Europe in range of fields.
