REMARC Cymru is a collaborative project that works across Wales with leading practitioners in the field of community energy and resilience. We are currently a small team of three.

Paul Burrell currently works part time in West Wales as a Development Officer for Ynni Lleol (Local Energy) and has occupied this role since 2010 working on a large variety of community energy renewable energy projects across Wales. These projects include wind turbines, hydro, AD, biomass and solar technologies. Prior to this role, Paul worked as a wind farm consultant for Dulas in Machynlleth. Since 2011 Paul has also been a director of Anemos Renewables llp an MCS registered company for installation and development of small wind turbine projects in England and Wales.

Giulio Mescia worked with Remarc as a Community Energy Consultant since 2018. He has led and project managed a large number of community energy projects. His experience with Remarc includes developing initiatives and community energy projects through LEADER funding. His skills include financial modeling, resource assessments, energy surveys, feasibility studies, planning applications and consents, and community engagement. Prior to joining Remarc he worked with Eco Dyfi, a community energy organisation for which he still holds a part-time role, delivering the Sustainable Communities Wales programme. This is delivered in partnership with Severn Wye Energy Agency and aims to help community groups be more energy efficient. Giulio completed an extensive MSc research dissertation project focused on community renewable schemes in Wales. 

Kim Bryan is an experienced communications and PR specialist working in a diverse range of roles largely focused on the environment and sustainability. Recently Kim was engaged to support the Small Wind Coop in Ceredigion who successfully developed a single medium scale wind turbine which was financed via a share issue which Kim coordinated and publicized in the local and wider community. Kim also has extensive experience of working with and developing grass roots organizations across Europe in range of fields.
